Subscription Service Terms & Conditions
Welcome to CSI Sweeps' Subscription Service. Our subscription packages are designed to provide ongoing maintenance and care for your chimney and stove with transparency and convenience. Below are the detailed terms and conditions for our Bronze, Silver, and Gold subscription packages.
General terms for all packages
Availability for service: Booking is subject to availability, especially during our closed periods in the last two weeks of December and the start of January. If you only offer one date for service, we cannot guarantee availability.
Correct use of appliances: Subscribers must use the appliance according to manufacturer instructions, including burning the correct fuels and avoiding overfilling the appliance. Misuse may affect the service provision and is subject to our fair usage policy.
Subscription eligibility: CSI must have swept or inspected your fire appliance prior to signing up for a subscription. This ensures that the appliance does not require immediate extensive repairs or replacements upon subscription entry.
Service commitment: Subscription services are contingent upon continuous payment for 12 months before claiming any included or discounted services.

Please ensure that you understand and agree to these terms before subscribing to our services. For any clarifications or to schedule your service, please contact CSI Sweeps directly. Preparing for your sweeping appointment
Ready your space: To ensure an effective and efficient chimney sweep, please refrain from using your appliance for 24 hours prior to our arrival.
We also require a clear space of approximately 6ft (1.82m) in front of the fireplace.
Security during the sweep
Maintaining security: Our sweeping process may necessitate multiple trips to and from our vehicle, potentially leaving doors open briefly. The security of your valuables is important; please ensure that all valuables are secured and removed from the pathway and work area to prevent any risk.
General terms and conditions
Service standards: Your chimney will be swept and inspected by a qualified professional – a member of Sweep Safe who strictly adheres to national standards. While we perform all services with the utmost diligence and care, it is important to note that our visual inspections of the appliance and chimney offer insights based on visible conditions. Due to the concealed nature of most chimney systems, these observations should not be taken as guarantees of the appliance’s or chimney’s condition. Where possible, consider a CCTV survey of the flue.
Operational assumptions: Unless informed otherwise by the homeowner or resident, we will proceed under the assumption that the appliance, flue, and all associated components are installed correctly and in a safe, operable condition. If issues arise during the sweeping process that are not due to a breach of contract on our part, responsibility lies with the existing conditions of the installation rather than the actions of our sweep team.
